Because of our demonstrated commitment to preserving Vermont’s environment, the Casablanca Motel has been recognized by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and the Small Business Development Center as an Environmental Partner. What does this mean?
Since 2008, we’ve worked hard to improve our business operations to lessen our impact on the local and global environment by conserving energy, water, and other natural resources; reducing waste generation; recycling and purchasing recycled products; and reducing our use of toxic materials.
In accordance with the Green Hotels mission, Casablanca Motel is committed to pollution prevention, continual improvement and meeting or exceeding all environmental regulatory requirements. We also comply with an Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) Purchasing Policy, choosing suppliers whose products have environmentally friendly attributes that maximize post-consumer, recycled content, minimize toxicity and packaging, or have any other environmentally preferable attributes, with minimal sacrifice to price, quality, and delivery requirements.
